For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
A time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to seek, and a time to lose;
A time to keep, and a time to throw away;
A time to tear, and a time to sew;
A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
A time to love, and a time to hate,
A time for war, and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
 I love the changing colors of autumn. It reminds me of the seasons that we go through in life. Each season in nature looks so different, and each season in our life can be as different as another lifetime. We all go through seasons. There are good times and bad time, positive and negative and happy times and sad times. Some of our seasons are a result of things we can control and other times are not within our control. There are seasons people enter our lives and stay and then there are times when people will leave. Some seasons I love and others I just wish would hurry and leave.
As autumn approaches and the air cools off, it makes me think of the cold winter coming and I start to set goals for what I’d like to work on during the colder months. With the hot days of summer, some of our goals get sidelined by last-minute plans and busy days.
But with kids going back to school and the promise of cozy days indoors, autumn is perfect for getting serious about our dreams. It’s a time to start dreaming again because the distractions of summer are fading away as quickly as the leaves are losing their green color.
 What are some of your dreams?  Allow this to be the season you start awakening that dream.
